Velvet Rose
15“The best drink we’ve ever made”
Bourbon · Velvet Falernum · Pineapple · Lemon

A boutique 1950s tiki lounge on South Magnolia — rotating handcrafted cocktails, fresh-pressed juice, and a rum shelf worth the drive. Next door to the Marion Theatre.
What's Pouring
We pour the originals the way they were written — Trader Vic's 1944 Mai Tai, Donn Beach's 1934 Zombie — alongside 24+ more of our own. The card rotates with the season and the juice is pressed the same day.

That's six of 31. Read the whole menu — originals, traditional tiki and the classics, with what's in every one of them.
The Rum Shelf
Independent bottlers, single-cask Caribbean, and the overproof workhorses that make a proper Zombie possible. Ask what's open — there's usually something behind the bar that isn't on any menu.
What's On
Thursday, September 10
The Marion Theatre next door hits 85 and we're pouring like it's 1941 — a 1941-inspired menu, a complimentary birthday toast when you show your ticket stub, a photobooth, and the after-party once the Aloma of the South Seas screening lets out. Hollywood or Hawaiian finest.
Every Sunday · Doors at 2pm
Eighties South Beach on the speakers from two in the afternoon straight through the night. Pastel encouraged, sleeves optional, the whole bar lit like a Michael Mann establishing shot.
Select nights · Check Instagram
Exotica, surf, lounge and the occasional Elvis. The lineup moves week to week — the Instagram story is always the fastest way to know who's on tonight.

The Room
Paper parasols, string lights, carved tiki, and enough neon to make everyone look good. Room for a first date, a whole crew, or a stool by yourself at the end of the bar — with a black-and-white monster movie flickering on the wall behind us all night.
"If you can't get to paradise, I'll bring it to you." — Donn Beach, 1933. Still the whole idea.

Walk-ins for the bar — we're a small room and it turns over quickly. For a group of eight or more, or anything you'd call a party, get in touch about a private event.
No. Come as you are. That said, people do dress for Vice Sundays and nobody has ever regretted a loud shirt in here.
We're a cocktail bar, not a kitchen. Downtown Ocala has plenty within a two-minute walk, and you're welcome to come to us after.
Yes. Bring ID — everyone gets carded.
Downtown street parking on South Magnolia, plus the public garage and lots around the Marion Theatre block. Evenings and weekends are free.
A black-and-white creature feature, on silent, every night we're open. It's been running since we opened and it's not going anywhere.
